Since 2006, the calibration laboratory has been continuously providing its calibration service internally to all the research laboratories within IPC to ensure the accurate measurement of laboratory’s critical equipment. Following its recent accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the laboratory is now opening its calibration service to the public.
In 2006, the IPC opened its Calibration laboratory for providing calibration service internally to laboratories in IPC such as the medical biology laboratory, the laboratory of food safety and environment, etc. on pipette calibration. Ten years later, in 2016, the laboratory extended its scope to weighing balance, mass and temperature mapping. From 2017 until present, the laboratory is competent to provide the calibration service on pipette type A, weighing balances, mass and temperature mapping.
The Calibration laboratory has always maintained its competence in both Management and Technical fields in order to keep complying with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for calibration laboratory as well as to get its result of calibration to be recognized worldwide. Recently, in February 2022, the laboratory has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 from the International Accreditation Service (IAS), the accreditation body from the United States, on its four scopes such as pipette type A, weighing balance, Mass and temperature mapping.
It is now opening its calibration service to the public for both national and international customers who are willing to ensure the accurate measurement of the critical equipment of the laboratory.
Calibration of pipette type A is available with the range from 1 μl to 1000 μl. The certificate of calibration of pipette type A is provided with the logo of accreditation and the measurement uncertainty.
Calibration of weighing balance is available with the range from 1mg to 200 g. The certificate of calibration of balance is provided with the logo of accreditation and the measurement uncertainty.
Calibration of mass is available with the range from 1 mg to 200 g. The certificate of calibration of mass is provided with the logo of accreditation and the measurement uncertainty.
Calibration of temperature mapping is available with the range from -30℃ to +50℃ within the volume up to 20 𝑚^3. The certificate of calibration of temperature mapping is provided with the logo of accreditation and the measurement uncertainty.
