On September 7, 2023, Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) and b. Consulting Cambodia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the honor of Prof. André SPIEGEL, Director of IPC and Mr. Florian BOHEME, Co-founder of b. Consulting Cambodia to launch Food Safety and Best Practices Training Program.

This ceremony was held, for industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to witness the ensuring of the importance of implementation for food safety and best practices across the culinary ecosystem through the standards of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). HACCP is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product. 

Together, the IPC and b. Consulting embark on a mission to empower culinary professionals, safeguard consumer well-being, and shape the future of hospitality experiences in Cambodia.

This initiative will also make possible to strengthen good hygiene practices and food safety and therefore contribute to better health for the population of Cambodia.
